Asbestos Contractor Supervisor Initial $920.00
EPA/AHERA accredited initial certification 40 hours course required for individuals who supervise asbestos abatement workers performing asbestos related tasks, and under OSHA regulations, have the authority to act as competent persons. In addition to required topics such as federal, state and local regulations, physical characteristics of asbestos, health effects, respiratory protection, personal monitoring, and others, this course includes in-depth instruction on state of the art abatement methods, and real-life practical experience.

A copy of the initial certificate or latest current refresher is required for this class.
Asbestos Building Inspector Refresher $100.00 (Add $20.00 for Cal-OSHA) EPA/AHERA accredited 4 hours refresher course that meets OSHA and Cal-OSHA annual refresher training requirements for building inspectors. The course material includes a review of the original class including but not limited to: recognition and use, role of the inspector and other work practices. Asbestos Management Planner Refresher $100.00 (Add $20.00 for Cal-OSHA) EPA/AHERA accredited 4 hours refresher course that meets OSHA and Cal-OSHA annual refresher education requirements for management planners. The course material includes a review of the original class including but not limited to: regulations, evaluation and interpretation of survey results, hazard assessments, selection of control options, operations and maintenance plans, and a review of regulations, new developments and techniques. Copy of the initial certificate or latest current refresher is required for this class.
Asbestos Abatement Worker Initial $640.00 EPA/AHERA accredited 32 hours initial course that meets EPA and OSHA (classes I and II) requirements for asbestos abatement workers. The course material includes: regulations, both state and federal; history, recognition and use; health effects; personal protection and state of the art work practices. To be certified, students must attend all 4 days and pass a written examination. Course is offered in both English and Spanish.

Asbestos O&M Initial (OSHA Class III) $320.00 Initial 16 hours course required by OSHA and Cal-OSHA for all janitorial, school maintenance and contractor personnel who, during the performance of their duties and/or emergency procedures, may disturb small amounts of ACM or PACM. In addition to hazards recognition and proper response to asb. related emergencies, participants are trained in the proper use of personal protective equipment, health issues and work practices. As required by the OSHA Respiratory Protection Standards, training includes a "User Seal Test" and a qualitative "Fit test". To be properly fitted, students must bring their own respirators to class. Course is offered in both English and Spanish.
Asbestos O&M Refresher (OSHA Class III) $100.00 Required 4 hours refresher course for all OSHA and Cal-OSHA class III workers. This 4-hours class provides a review of the original course and covers new developments and techniques used in the performance of the job. Copy of initial certificate or current refresher is required. Courses are offered in both English and Spanish.
Asbestos General Awareness (OSHA Class IV) $90.00 3 hours class that meet OSHA Class IV requirements for training personnel who are likely to come into contact with, but do not disturb ACM. Designed for building owners, property managers, janitorial personnel, this class will teach participants how to respond to emergencies, recognize hazards, identify suspect ACM and prevention of asbestos exposure.Course is offered in both English and Spanish.
Asbestos Worker Roofer (OSHA Class II) $200.00 Required 8 hours course for all OSHA class II workers (Construction Craft Worker-Roofer). Approved for those who perform removal of asbestos roofing materials. Topics covered include introduction to regulations, health effects, PPE, removal of cementitious shingles, Transite boards, felts and flashings, and safety issues as it relates to roofing work. To obtain certification, the student must pass a 20-question written examination at the end of the class. Courses are offered in both English and Spanish.
