HAZWOPER Training Courses

Annual Refresher $180.00 8 hours Hazwoper annual OSHA required training offered in our location, and off-site at your location. This refresher course complies with 29 CFR 1920.120 for employees who have completed the initial 24 or 40-hour course. Main objectives include:- Protecting the environment- Protecting the health and safety of workers and the public, and control and elimination of potential hazardas- At the completion of the class, students will:- Describe potentially hazardous situations involving corrosives, solvents, oxidizers and reactive chemicals.- Understand how hazardous materials affect the human body, and how to handle and identify these materials.- Understanding of site characterization.- Identify the uses of personal protective equipment (PPE), and how to choose the adequate PPE.- Understand toxicology principles and how they relate to various types of chemical exposures.- Define a medical surveillance program and its purpose.- Indicate the several considerations in an emergency situation and importance of safety training.
Each student that attends and completes the course will receive a completion certificate. Courses are offered in both English and Spanish.

HAZWOPER 24 Hours Course $420.00 24 hours Hazwoper OSHA required training offered in our location in Las Vegas, Nevada and off-site at your location. This course complies with 29 CFR 1920.120 OSHA's Hazardous Waste and Emergency Response standard. The course is designed for individuals on site only occasionally for a limited task, and who are unlikely to be exposed over permissible exposure limits; or workers regularly on site who work in areas which have been monitored and fully characterized indicating that exposure are under permissible exposure limits, where respirators are not necessary, there are no health hazards or the possibility of a emergency developing. Main objectives include:- Control or eliminate the potential hazard and/or losses, and- Protect the health and safety of workers, the public and the environment.- At the completion of the class, students will:- Describe potentially hazardous situations involving corrosives, solvents, oxidizers and reactive chemicals.- Understand how hazardous materials affect the human body, and how to handle and identify these materials.- Recognize signs and labels that are used to alert personnel of danger involving hazardous materials.- Identify the uses of personal protective equipment (PPE), and how to choose the adequate PPE.- Understand toxicology principles and how they relate to various types of chemical exposures.- Define a medical surveillance program and its purpose.- Indicate the several considerations in an emergency situation and importance of safety training.
